Technical details | With Microsoft Reader (ClearType), color is reduced, making visuals and reading on small devices easier. Users can draw on pages, take notes, highlight text, and search contents. PCs with plugins for text-to-speech can read the book out loud. Some Windows-based phones and Windows Pocket devices are compatible with LIT files, but Kindle, iBook, and Nook are not. Windows 95 through Vista OS, Pocket PC 2000-2002, and Windows Mobile 2003, 2003 SE, 5.5, 6.0, and 6.1 are compatible with LIT files. |
